''Elachista tuberella'' is a moth in the Elachistidae family. It was described by Sruoga in 2008.〔(LepIndex )〕 It is found in Nepal.〔(Elachista at funet )〕 The habitat consists of mixed secondary scrub and pine forests. The wingspan is 6.9–8.2 mm. The forewings are greyish brown, mottled by brownish grey tipped scales. There are blackish brown tipped scales beyond the middle of the wing, forming two irregular spots near the costal and tornal margins. The same scales are found in the apical area, where they form an elongate spot. The hindwings are grey-brown. Adults have been recorded on wing in early June and early March. ==Etymology== The species name refers to the peculiar hump in the middle of the phallus and is derived from Latin ''tuber'' (meaning protuberance, excrescence).〔, 2008, ''Zootaxa'' 1821: 59-66.
